The world of than a White House phone call to Russia at the minute. However, as shoppers start to lean towards more conscientious choices, brands are starting to acknowledge the environmental and social impact of fast fashion.
One of the names at the forefront of this style revolution is Mango, as shown by the Spanish retailer’s new ethically-sound range – Mango Committed.
The 20-piece line-up comprises casual shirts, staple chinos and sleek tailoring separates, all in a neutral colour palette.
Each piece is cut from sustainable fabrics such as organic and recycled cotton in factories located in Morocco, Portugal and Turkey, and comes complete with an international warranty that certifies its origin.
It follows on from last year’s Take Action project, aimed at creating a business model based on sustainability criteria and more environmentally-friendly processes.
The moral? Do good. Look better.
The range will be available and in selected Mango stores from 1 March.
